Steven Karim BMS Clin.BioChem.
Qualified as a biomedical scientist in clinical
chemistry 1992 and worked for the NHS for 12 years.
During that time Steven worked with the home office to produce
computer graphic interpretations to re-enact suspicious crimes
based on police and forensic evidence.
This work created a platform to explain more complex matters
of a trial to help the jury, defence and prosecution.
In 1997 Steven coordinated the making of a dispatches documentary
called the Test. This is an investigation into the biggest
cervical smear scandal in British medical history.
The results of the documentary were astounding that forced
the government to do an independent enquiry, which lead to
policy changes from the Department of Health to be implemented
into the NHS management to avoid possible future mistakes
occurring.
Steven continued to work within the media and consulted on
medical programmes for Channel 4 news, BBC and Discovery Health.
Steven’s enthusiasm to produce documentaries that challenges
orthodox thinking on health was to lead him to Los Angels
where he researched a vast range of complementary healing
modalities. Steven studied and researched ozone therapy, flower
essences, chakra analysis, psychodynamic counselling, crystal
therapy, tera mai seichem healing and kinesiology.
During this time Steven’s experience helped him develop
a deeper sense and way of looking at how Eastern and Western
philosophies promote health, well-being and a pathway to deal
with disease.
After his research in L.A. Steven began to do more extensive
research into Ozone Therapy, which was to change his life
direction from documentaries to practicing Ozone Therapy.
Steven started to practice in early 1999 in London and by
the beginning of 2000 Steven had opened his own private practice.
He has now practiced for 8 years dealing with a vast range
of chronic diseases, general health and preventative medicine.
During this time he has been consulted to do a feasibility
study for a complementary health centre in Harley Street London,
consulted and implemented the treatments and administration
protocols for a detox retreat in Bali called The Retreat Bali.
In Bali Steven also studied and researched alchemic medicine
made from pure gold, herbs, forest honey and water.
At the Retreat Bali Steven formulated detoxification protocols
that involved an extensive array of treatments, nutrition,
supplements and alchemic medicine alongside Ozone Therapy.
Steven's philosophies of healing at the retreat was put in
practice where Eastern and Western practices of healing come
together. Since this experience Steven's wish is to one day
to be able to use diagnostic tools to help and ensure the
work of complementary medicine that integrates a whole healing
approach, within a healing enviroment and community.
Steven is now in the process of producing his own skin care
range that will also complement on detoxification protocols
to be used in the future.
